In this polished porphyry you can see amazing feldspar crystals, quartz, and Lake Superior agate pockets! This is easily my favorite piece of porphyry and the first time I have ever polished any, so I hope whoever wins is happy!! I was very pleased with how it turned out, I don't think I'll polish anything this large again though, it wasnt difficult, it was just extremely awkward to work on my flat lap. It would probably do better setting on a vibratory machine.
