PHOENIX – Transformative Art Meditation

This transformative art meditation shows a selection of my art works, that explore the topic of the PHOENIX:
The "Phoenix," the bird that burns itself down to resurrect from its own ashes. A story about death and rebirth, about falling and rising, about self-transformation. In my artworks, I depict the Phoenix as a human being and tell the story of the cycles of death and rebirth that we as humans experience repeatedly throughout our lives and possibly beyond. The process of transitioning from one stage to the next in which we burn ourselves to ashes and use the very ashes to fuel our transformation of the old self into a new self. To me, the Phoenix is a major symbol of human self-empowerment.

How to practice art meditations:

I see my artworks as metaphysical tools for self-discovery, so I created this new artistic format of "art meditations" to allow you to experience these works as metaphysical tools for your personal contemplation and inner journey.

I invite you to see these works of art as portals into your inner world, allowing you to go deeper within, into your unknown, your mystery of self, your darkness, your universe.
Here you will receive your unique inspiration and activation on any questions, topics, or issues you may have.
Prepare by relaxing, quieting your mind, breathing in and out, letting go of all mind chatter, and opening yourself up to the experience.
You can begin this process with a question, an intention, or simply by remaining open and allowing the work to reveal itself to you. These works of art have a unique impact, inspiration, or activation on you.
It can be both appealing and repulsive.
Understand that this is not the artwork itself.
Understand that it is not the art work itself that is doing this; rather, it is a mirror for a (subconscious) reaction within you that you can now address:
What comes to mind for you?
Where do you stand in this image?
What does it make you think of?
What emotions/images/memories does it elicit?
Pay close attention to what is going on.
You connected with the work, and it is now sending you your very own unique message.
It can arrive mentally as words, emotionally as emotions, physically as bodily sensations, or as a metaphysical experience.
Understand that there is no right or wrong in this situation.
Accept the experience rather than judging the process, as it is your co-creation and thus unique to you.
