Today I will do a short reading of a section of the literary work Days of Awe by Cuban-American writer Achy Obejas.

In Spanish with have different verbs to talk about love & affection -
amar- in a romantic relationship, with someone that you like a lot
querer -to show love and affection between family members
gustar- to say you like someone in a romantic way or to say you love things or enjoy doing things
encantar- to say you like someone's personality
