Martin had been searching for somebody for quite a while to share his some of his life experiences and other aspects which he came to believe had an extra terrestrial origin. These were in the main related to his earlier teenage years, yet, latterly, he's aware of other things going on, which are mentioned in this interview. He speaks of guardian angels, synchronicity and gratitude for all he is going through.

For anyone to come forward takes some courage, and perhaps more so, when you are older. Sharing his feelings about what has occurred in his very busy life, Martin also speaks to a catastrophic brain condition, hydroencephalitis, which caused a breakdown of his health and ability to function normally. Such was the seriousness, that needed to be in a care home for 21 months....he describes having symptoms of dementia and more as a result of this trauma. It is incredible that Martin rallied and with the tireless support of family, he has been able to rehabilitate fully, and now lives in his own flat in Dorchester.

What a testament to the human spirit. Martin is quite certain he has a guardian angel, and frequently finds feathers around, and also thinks that since the illness, he has become more compassionate and finds he enjoys supporting others, which is something that would never have occurred to him before. With his peripatetic life, he found himself feeling like a square peg in a round hole, rudderless too often, with society's need for conformity...as he says, he just didn't fit in. For 10 years he was a successful blacksmith, and then went on to become a sailing instructor for both yachts and motor boats, joking that with the latter, it was like going to the dark side!

Its always a privilege to work with people, and be part of sharing their very human story, and in Martin's case with a smattering of things extra terrestrial.
