Unidentified Objects Over North America

Over the last week at least four "UFOs" have been shot down over North America. Many are asking if these objects are extra terrestrial in nature, but are we really expected to believe that super advanced aliens can be easily taken out by an F-16 using a sidewinder missile? What is really going on over the skies of North America?
