How many of you caught this story last year? On April 1st, 22 Wesley Gakaou was just doing his job, driving for Uber and providing people the convenience of being dropped off wherever they need to go. Unfortunately, this night a Karen booked a drive and it was assigned to him. When she was in his car, decided to go full racist. The one thing she didn’t count on was the fact that he had a dashcam and recorded the whole thing.

Not only did Karen let slur after slur fly, emphasizing the hard “er,” she called the cops and filed a false report as well. In a disturbing show of awareness of U.S. history and comfort in the most wicked parts of it, she boasted that the police would “F*cking string your sh*t up, you f*cking n*gger!”

Thankfully, Gakaou survived the encounter and Karen was unable to summon the instant anti-Black violence she hoped. In researching this story, we were unable to find the identity of this woman.

She worked extremely hard to have her rightful place in history as a vile racist and we should do our best to get her the attention she deserves.

Any business or potential employer should be able to make a fully informed choice about whether or not she is a good representative of their company’s values. So let’s make her famous.
