While I know that black people have had to endure so much after arriving to the shores in America, I'm also aware of the collective lackadaisical push to improve and falling for the trinkets and illusion of the good life while not making the progress that we could potentially make.

Proportionately and in relation to others who are already here who have benefited from us building the country, there are others who have arrived to these shores long after us and have worked together to create their own communities containing hospitals, schools, supermarkets, banks, housing and the other necessities that they need to live independent of the rest of the United States.

And while I speak on the United States, know that it's because I was born and raised there, but as I have traveled abroad and are now living in Ghana West Africa, my lens is been pulled back and my scope is much wider and I will tell you that I am just as disgusted by many of the things that I see here that makes me want to speak on this in this particular program.

While I'm not saying that I'm giving up on the global black family, I will say that I have to shift my focus in a tighter fashion due to the fact that many who claim that the desire for us to come together is merely posturing for attention and for the self gratification to "bring the house down" with empty talk that is going nowhere!

While I'm quite sure there are many out here in the world who are serious about our upliftment, I am also quite sure that all who speak on the positive note for us to do for self are big waste of time.

So I welcome all to attend the show and at some point during the broadcast I would like to open up the phone lines so that you can call in with your opinion whether I agree with it or not, all will be able to speak.
