Spider-man No Way Home and the final episode of Hawkeye on Disney+ were released within days of each other, and this was no coincidence, as the two share a connection. More specifically, this connection is to the Netflix Daredevil series, as Spider-Man featured the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil, while Hawkeye featured the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

So does that mean the Netflix series like Daredevil are canon to the MCU now?

In this video, we will go through the reality of the situation, as we first explore the legalities of the situation between the MCU and the Netflix shows, the in-continuity relation between the Netflix series and the MCU, and finally, which other characters from the Netflix series may be carried over to the MCU proper.
