In a 'One on One' conversation, Damar Hamlin was asked how doctors described what happened to him.

His response was strange.

We have been told what the cause was (the tackle) so nothing should be new here, but yet, he gave a long pause before saying 'That’s something I want to stay away from.'

The long pause was strange, and so was the answer.

We're told that it is quite a normal reaction and that athletes have been having cardiac arrests on the field since day one. Isn't it therefore a straightforward question ans answer?

Why on earth would he want to stay away from it?

Surely it can only be because what happened wasn't caused by what we have been told.Tye long paused could suggest he was wrestling with his conscience as to whether to say something else.

Has he been forced/paid to not answer? What would he be forced to keep quiet about?
