Random Rants: John Boyega Chimes In About Idris Elba's Identity Politics Comment And Gets It Wrong

After Idris Elba's recently rejected identity politics in Hollywood, with comments about not limiting his career by labeling himself as a "black actor", Star Wars actor John Boyega responded, stating that we should "fixate on who is typecasting and putting actors in boxes because of this, not on making weird adjustments for them." There's so much wrong in that statement, but focusing on race puts people in a box more than focusing on what you can control.
