Planetary Ring Mining...

In the future, space mining operations might appear in planetary ring systems. Rings often contain important resources like water ice and minerals. The chunks of rock and ice in them are usually small and close together, which makes their resources easy to access. Humans will probably end up mining the rings of the gas giant planets in our Solar System, especially the rings of Saturn.
