A Tidally-Locked Planet
11
One side of this planet exists in perpetual daylight, while the other is experiencing an eternal night! Tidally-locked planets have a rotation period that is equal to their orbital period. This causes the same side of the planet to always face the star, while the other side is always facing away. Tidal locking is believed to cause eccentric weather patterns on planets with atmospheres, but some of these worlds could be habitable!
