An Off Grid Washer And Dryer? Yup! This tiny unit can run off a tiny solar array or Jackery Pack.

Jennifer jumps in to help show off this cool new item we picked up for our homestead. This little unit cleans and spin dries 2 days worth of outfits in less than 30 minutes, and uses right at 300 watts to do it. Our Geartist power station that is charged by a single 100 watt solar panel can power this thing!
It's never going to stack up to a conventional washer dryer setup, but it gives us a way to move further off the grid by using a lot less electricity. There are literally dozens of these out there under different names, and they all appear to work about the same so shop around. From doing my research into these I was able to find that many people use them on their larger RV's, and for city dwellers, this thing fits in the tub and can save 1000's on having to go to the laundry mat every week.

Overall a pretty cool idea that we have been using for a few months now. I'll make a part 2 that shows it in use and give my overall impression.
