Radio Shack CB Radio Review. The Realistic TRC-413 40 Channel AM Radio. A Blast From The Past!

I picked this little radio up at a yard sale or flea market and I've been sitting on it for a while now. It's a good radio made in an era when Radio Shack was selling a lot of models with very little differences between them. I don't know who actually made this unit, but I suspect it is a midland or Maxton radio under that Realistic skin.
For someone looking to get into the hobby cheap, a radio like this will work great, and it will provide them with a perfect starter base station or mobile setup for years to come. I think That's one of the things I love the most about this hobby. CB radios can be bought used for so little that a complete base station setup is only $25.00 away!
