Retekess V115 Shortwave Radio. An Inexpensive way to enter the shortwave hobby!

So behind the scenes here at Farpoint, I've been working on 3 different antenna projects and 2 of them are for use with Shortwave radios. This got me really wondering about newer shortwave radios. I wanted to see how a modern "Pocket radio" would perform. Armed with zero information, I set out to see what I could find, and I came across this little unit.

For the price, I sure has some neat features that I hadn't ever seen before. The ability to record right to a card being the coolest, but also the ability to auto scan and store stations. I think for these two reasons alone, this little radio is worth the $$. I would recommend a long piece of wire and an alligator clip added to the antenna if you really want to hear all the stations, but even with just the telescopic antenna, it's pretty decent.
