Post Scarcity is Post Human

Scarcity is a factor of human nature not economics, production, or distribution of resources. The very concept of post scarcity relies on temporal definitions of scarcity that assume people's definition of scarcity and what they want won't change. Scarcity is nothing more than desire or want, and even if you get everything you want now you will want more and different things in the future. Post scarcity is impossible.
