China responded after US shot down

In an unprecedented move, China has responded fiercely to the United States after the downing of an unidentified Chinese drone in the South China Sea. Coming from a powerful position and facing sanctions from Washington over its human rights policies, Beijing threatened that any further action would result in “serious military consequences”. In an effort to make clear its unrelenting stance on security issues, Beijing released a series of verbal warnings as tensions between the countries continue to mount.
