Piper The Dog

At a seashore, a group of sandpipers is scouring for sustenance by scavenging for exposed bivalves that emerge when waves recede, and hastily retreating when the waves return. Piper, a young sandpiper, is accompanied by her mother to the shoreline so that she can acquire the skills of foraging for food. In spite of her mother's instructions, Piper struggles to withdraw in time and is drenched by the incoming surf.
