How to Port Forward Jedi Knight Dark Forces II and Mysteries of the Sith

Ports needed:
TCP/UDP 47624
TCP/UDP 2300-2400

Step 1: Write down your admin username and password for your router this is located on a sticker on the device
Step 2: Open command prompt (start, cmd, enter) and type ipconfig and hit enter this will display your IPv4 address and Default Gateway write that down too
**Optional Step if you want to do a static IP due to multiple devices on your home network see below**
Step 3: Open a browser of your choice and type in your default gateway in the address bar and hit enter then login with the admin credentials you wrote down in step 1
Step 4: Find the Port Forwarding section and add a service. Make sure it is pointed to your local IP address then save
Step 5: Make sure JK.exe and JKM.exe are whitelisted on Windows firewall and your 3rd party anti-virus/firewall software

Optional step to set a static IP do the following:
Step 1: Open Control Panel
Step 2: Go into networking
Step 3: right click on your connection (ethernet or Wi-Fi) go to properties
Step 4: disable IPv6 and go to IPv4 and manually enter in the IP address you want for DNS make sure you do an ipconfig/all beforehand to know what your DNS address was before OR do 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 as your DNS addresses
Step 5: Save all of this and run an ipconfig to make sure it has taken
Step 6: Update your port forwarding in your router to reflect your new static IP address
