Savage Axis II XP 7mm-08 Range Time

Sighting in our Savage Axis II XP rifles chambered in 7mm-08. We shot 60 rounds or so through them (each), getting a feel for the exceptional trigger, the Bushnell Banner Scopes, and a few types of ammo.

These are budget sub-$500 (when you buy on sale!) rifles, but I've seen reviews of long-range shooters taking them out to 700 yards and ringing steel, so we thought they'd be great for deer and pronghorn!

We had a lot of fun, shot a lot of rifle ammo ($$$ session) and I am handloading the 7mm-08, so we'll dial in a good load. The CFE223 did great, but I need to dial it down a bit as it was a bit hot.
