Before we become adept, we're under the illusion that reality happens outside of us and thereby it's easy for us to make ourselves victims.

Once we become aware that we can be intentional about the nature of our evolution and that we can adopt any beneficial skillset or characteristic that we desire, we can direct our life pathways to produce the virtuous outcomes that we desire.
