WHEN MACCABEES Become PHARISEES | Vision vs. Division in the Hebrew Roots Movement

Join Pastor Gary and Chaplain Jeanne (Zamar) of HaMakom Fellowship as they discuss how the initial zeal for the beauty of Torah and a Hebraic way of life-- can morph into judgmental treatment of others in the Body of Messiah. Gary & Jeanne have been in Messianic Ministry Leadership since the late 1980s, and have observed a very concerning trend in the growing "Hebrew Roots" The actions and accusations of some in this movement towards others related to the Sacred Name, calendars, Sabbath, "approved words", and much more-- do not reflect the fruits of the Spirit, or the love Yeshua (Jesus) commanded us to express to others, let alone the life, ministry, and Mercy Yeshua himself demonstrated when He gave His life for us as His Redeemed. This harsh treatment has alienated many Believers along with others exploring Faith in Yeshua. This is a call to action to personally reflect on our actions and words to others or about others...and make sure that we fulfill Yeshua's last command to us ...to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19a) through the LOVE He repeatedly commands us to demonstrate to those both inside and outside the Household of Faith.

Are you new to TORAH? Or, have you been living a "TORAH life" for years? Many people are "out there" seeking fellowship like-minded believers, and don't have a place to go, or are unable to get to a local congregation. Many of those people are scattered, homebound, or isolated for whatever reason. We hope to be that "Place" where you can be a part of our online Community. We currently meet every other Friday evening for an Erev Shabbat gathering/service...plus other special gatherings throughout the month and year. We would love for you to join us! HaMakom means, "The Place". We think of Genesis 28:16 where Jacob wakes from his dream and states, "Surely the LORD is in This Place and I did not know it." Come, grow in The Word, and build new relationships as we praise, worship, and fellowship together as a body! We lift up and honor Yeshua (Jesus) as The Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

We also offer special services throughout the month such as Feast Days, Havdalah, Prayer Gatherings and more. Our services and gatherings focus on Bible Study, Teaching, Prayer, Praise & Worship, and Fellowship.
