Baby Shower With The Family

We went down to visit my family this weekend for the baby shower. Melanie got to open all the gifts while everyone watched.

We had a good time. There was a buffet meal with some light and healthy foods. Then there was dessert, not so healthy but still good. Melanie made her own cake and everyone loved it. She used all natural ingredients and made a blueberry cake. She made her own whipped cream topping too.

We literally filled the car with gifts that we had received for the baby. There are many useful things. The clothes ranged from 0 months to the first year. This is very helpful for us so we will not has as much expense during the first year of the baby.
