The Grass IS Always Greener

They say that the grass is always greener over the septic tank. I have found that the grass is greener under the chicken tractor.

I have been moving the chickens around in the yard every day since I got them. Now you can see patches of very lush green vegetation where the birds have been in the past.

The growth is much thicker and it is actually greener. It really is somehow greener.

I have heard of the saying but never witnessed it myself.

The birds are fertilizing the soil very nicely.

This makes me wonder if I can put the litter from the chicken coop directly on my garden this year for better vegetables.

If it did not hurt the grass and actually helped it greatly then maybe it will help our corn field.
