Planted Herb Garden & Started Corn Garden Plot

I hauled two loads of compost to back fill our raised bed herb garden. Then I raked the soil into the planting boxes.

Next Melanie and I planted our herbs into our new raised herb garden. It will take some time to fill out so we are going to sprout some lettuce for this year to make it look better and to give us some extra food.

I finished mowing the lawn with the push mower. with the constant rain we are getting the lawn was badly in need of cutting.

I measured and marked out the corn garden. then I tilled the soil 4 or 5 times. our corn is sprouting inside the house to give us a head start on growing while I work the soil.

I will till again in a couple days.
