Noção Rasta - Som Roots, a Verdadeira Meditação

Noção Rasta was founded in the city of Rio de Janeiro in 1999, more precisely in the Grajaú neighbourhood (place nicknamed Grajamaica due to the strong influence of that rhythm in the region). Since then they have been developing a serious work that mixes the roots of reggae with other influences such as jazz, african music, mpb and rock.

The second album "Som Roots, A Verdadeira Meditação" was released in 2004.
