Finally Finished Sheathing Our Winter Greenhouse

I finally finished putting the sheathing on our all year off grid greenhouse. Half of the greenhouse will be insulated to allow us to grow vegetables all year.

We have extreme cold winters up here so I am insulating the North sides of the greenhouse to limit heat loss a bit. During the winter months the sun is lower in the sky and only the south facing windows will receive any sunlight. So the North side would only mean loss of heat during the cold winter nights.

I am insulating the back walls and I will use a wood stove and barrels of water to help keep the greenhouse from freezing at night.

We can grow a whole lot of different vegetables in a heated greenhouse.

It took me a long time to get all the sheathing on because of all the little strips around and in between the windows. But I finally got it done.
