Finished Framing Off Grid Greenhouse & Deck

Marc came back for one more day of work on the greenhouse. We not only finished the greenhouse but we also built a deck using the rest of the lumber.

First thing in the morning Marc worked on the final rafters and then squared things away nicely while I prepped some boards for the new deck which will be out in front of the greenhouse.

After Marc was finished I had the floor framing all cut to size.

The two of us then built the frame for our new greenhouse deck. This is a floating deck and not at all attached to the greenhouse.

Next the two of us worked on building the deck using the rest of the lumber that I got for free this summer.

The deck went together quite fast and it really looks good.

We put the entire deck up on blocks to keep it off the ground. This will ensure longer life of the wood.
