Another Deep Freeze In Summer & Garage Sale Going On

It froze hard last night. We are in the middle of our garage sale.

We have had the worst summer here in years according to the neighbors. We had 5 freezing nights here this summer so far.

Everyone is losing their gardens in this area while in town just 5 miles away they have very mild weather but say they had no summer at all this year.

We get temperature swings from day to night varying about 50 degrees. We had hot scorching days and freezing nights. While just a mile away by a lake they had a cooler summer with mild nights.

This is very odd weather this year.

We lost our first garden attempt to ground squirrels in the spring. So we bought plants and put them in after all danger of frost was supposed to be past and it froze that night.

We bought more plants and they froze now too.
