Off To A Good Start Then Disaster Strikes

The day started out well but then later the venom in my system from the wasp sting kicked in, making me ill. Then I got stung by two yellow jackets. Boy, what a day.

I started out the day feeling a bit off. As the day progressed I felt more and more ill due to the wasp sting I had from Saturday. I was getting all red and blotchy and felt quite ill.

We were cooking with our solar cooker all day. Melanie made breaded chicken which she served with potatoes. Later she made blueberry muffins. And then we had dinner cooked with the solar oven. All of our meals and desert were cooked using the power of the sun.

I am admiring the greenhouse. It really looks good to see all the plants growing out there. And the view from the tiny house kitchen is very nice.

I had planned to set up the new solar panel rack in front of the trailer. This will power our two homes with off grid solar power.

Right now the only thing using the power grid is our water pump which is 240 volts. I hope to get that going on solar soon too.

After lunch I was quite ill so I took a nap. Later in the afternoon I went out to get some cement blocks for a project I wanted to work on but hit a yellow jacket nest. I got stung twice.

That was the end of my day.

Fortunately I did not have an allergic reaction to the wasp stings. They say that you react differently to different types of stings. Yellow jackets are not so bad for me. It just felt like electricity going through the wounds.
