Rewiring Electric Fence & Clearing Forest & Packages Arrived

I pruned some bushes, dropped some trees and cleared a path through the woods to expand the electric fence due to some deer attacks on our food.

I first pruned the bushes over our herb and flower bed by the garden. I had wanted to do this for a while now. This gives the plants more sunlight and air flow.

I also cut some smaller trees on a path between the chicken coop and the greenhouse. I always wanted to put a path in there. I also thinned out the growth to allow more sunlight to reach the blackberries that grow there.

Then I mowed the path from the chickens to the greenhouse. This will allow me to walk through when I want. In the future I will probably be feeding the birds from the garden and greenhouse.

This also freed up the path for the electric fence to run through. Now the fence wire will be out of the way of our back yard.

I trimmed some tree branches behind the greenhouse and ran the electric fence wire through there and around behind the orchard.

Then I cleared the brush and dead trees in the woods behind the garden area. Now I was able to put up the electric fence wire through there. This expands the protected area and clears up the apple orchard.

Previously I had been running electric fence wire as I went along. It became quite a mess back there.

Now I got the orchard cleared out and looking much nicer. I can also mow the lawn easier back there now.

It was raining on and off during the day so please forgive the blurriness on the camera at times.
