Short Update From The Off Grid Homestead

Just a brief update from The Off Grid Project. We are still digging out from all the snow. We lost internet all weekend but its working for now.

It took me over 3 hours to upload the last video on Saturday which was a compilation of a few days. The snow plow had cut our internet cable and I had to dig out the ends and splice them together. This took me days.

Saturday the internet was bad. It was coming and going. Eventually it went and stayed out all weekend. This morning a tech was here and now it works.

We had some good sun today and near 60 degrees F. The batteries were in equalization mode.

When the tech for our internet line came I took the batteries out of float mode so we could turn on the modem and I could upload this video for you.

We are still packing our things but it has been slowed by the snow and mud.
