Installing New Power Inverter In Off Grid Tiny House

I am installing the new huge 3,500 watt power inverter on my off grid tiny house on wheels. My old inverter finally died so someone sent me this one to replace it.

I had to build a shelf to hold the new inverter because it wants to be mounted in a horizontal position. The old one was just screwed to the wall of the tiny house.

I used some scrap lumber from the old sales counter that I got free and cut down for work benches in the off grid wood shop. There is still some scrap wood left and I am finding uses for it.

I screwed a piece of plywood to a piece of 2x4 to make a shelf and screwed this onto the tiny house wall.

I put the power inverter in place on the new shelf to see how it fits.

Then I cut an angled piece of wood to go from the front bottom of the shelf to the tiny house wall. This braces and shelf and makes it strong.

Next I mounted the power inverter to the new shelf.

And finally I connected the wires. I have power again in the off grid tiny house on wheels. Lots of power.
