Sad Day At The Homestead All Our Babies Are Gone

We are selling everything that we cannot take with us on our trip to Michigan. We are having a baby so we will move to MI to be closer to family and to escape the constant harassment on our land.

Today we sold our chickens. This was sad because we had hand raised them inside our off grid tiny house as little chicks. Melanie would talk to them and carry them around daily.

But we cannot take them on such a long trip.

We will be looking for a new home close to my family in MI and starting a new off grid homestead there.

We will take everything we need with us to start up our new homestead. We will have to start up a new flock of birds when we get settled. But with no current home to move into we cannot take the animals with us.

It is very quiet now at the off grid homestead.
