Packages Arrived & Thanksgiving In Michigan

Melanie and I traveled to Michigan to spend time with our family for Thanksgiving. This is Melanie's first thanksgiving ever. We picked up some packages at the post office on the way leaving our home and brought them with us.

I wanted Melanie to have a proper Thanksgiving so we are with my family. She is very much loved here and everyone is happy to see her.

We opened the boxes that we brought with us while with my parents.

Both of the boxes were labeled for Melanie but a couple items were for our homestead combined and both Chris and I got some items. Thank you very much for thinking of us.

Melanie got another package full of duct tape for wallet and purse making. Plus it had thread and forms for friendship bracelets. There are full instructions for every project included.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and we had a very nice time with our family. Many relatives came over each bringing some food to add to the feast. Each family has their own specialty that they bring each year. Melanie got her first real turkey meat and loved it. She has only had processed lunch meat before.

It was a good day overall.
