BYB LED Desk Lamp In My Tiny House Study

I was sent the BYB E430 LED desk lamp to try out in the off grid tiny house on wheels. Actually I am using it to light up my tiny house study right now as I type this.

The BYB LED desk lamp is made of high quality materials and is built to last. I can tell you from experience that this lamp holds itself in place through everything. I have it clamped to the thin edge of my desk and it has gone through bumps, bangs and even cats brushing against it all the time. The lamp has never budged since I set it up.

It has an amazing grip on the edge of the desk and the hinge points stay put once you set the lamp up. The BYB desk lamp comes with tools to adjust the lamp hinge settings. Once it is set up, it stays. I like this fact. I have had many LED desk lamps through the years and most do not hold onto the desk well at all.

This is a really cool lamp because it has touch sensitive switches on top of the lamp.

This lamp has 4 LED color levels and 6 dimmable settings on the touch top of the lamp.

To turn the lamp on, you have to physically turn on the switch on the power lead. This is a good thing for me because I am off the grid and every single watt burned is valuable to me. I can switch the lamp off fully using the mechanical switch.

Next you simply touch the power sensor on top of the lamp with your finger. There are two blue LEDS on top to guide you to the right places in the dark. I use these as a dim sort of night light when I have turned the lamp off.

When you touch the power button the BYB R430 LED lamp comes on in the last setting that you used.

Another really cool feature of this lamp is that it has a touch slider for the brightness setting. To dim the lamp, simply slide your finger on the touch slider control To the right dims the lamp and to the left makes it brighter. I love this feature as well due to being off the grid. I can dim the light and use less power.

Actually since I am sitting in my tiny house loft study, which is a small room, I do not need the light on full brightness. I usually have the lamp at the lowest setting which is perfect for working on my laptop in my study at night.

Another cool feature is the four LED light color temperature settings. You can tough another point on the top of the lamp to change LED color modes. This makes the lamp perfect for everyone because it is sure to have your favorite color setting.

Some people prefer warm white LED light while others prefer the cold white LEDs.

I have used this lamp for a while now in my off grid tiny house on wheels and I am very pleased with its performance and quality.

This lamp is now a permanent part of my tiny home study. I use it literally every evening now in my loft.
