Jimmy Swaggart is a popular American evangelist, author, and television minister born in Ferriday, Louisiana. He is best known for his Pentecostal ministry which includes his weekly telecast, The Jimmy Swaggart Telecast, which reaches over 3.5 million viewers. Swaggart is also the founder and president of the SonLife Radio Network, which is broadcast to over 150 countries.
Despite his success and popularity, Swaggart has also been embroiled in controversy.
