Your Last Good-bye

Hello my friends. February the 15th, 2017, was the 35th anniversary of the sinking of the oil rig Ocean Ranger, on the grand banks off Newfoundland. There were 84 men on board on that tragic day, no one survived. I wrote this song on February 18th, 1982, just three days after she sank. The original song was recorded with just voice and acoustic guitar, and I have wanted for years now to record this song again, so I have done just that, to commemorate the loss of so many husbands. fathers, sons and brothers and friends to so many of us, 35 years ago. I re-dedicate this song and video to the families and friends of those who perished.
