She's a dirty one!! Before we can freshen up the bottom end on this Gen IV 5.3L LS, it will need to cleaned and prepped. This is an important step in the engine building process to get all the gunk and grime out of the threads and oil passages along with all of the external/internal surfaces. Tonight we are going to chase threads, degrease the engine block, and hone the cylinders. After that, well it is a trip to Jimmy's to get a bath in the hot tank! So come along for the ride and watch us get this ready for a rebuild!
