Learning about Fuel Hazard Reduction in Forests

Controlled burning or prescribed fire is used to reduce fuels that are built up and accumulated on the forest floor. These fuels are known to cause wildfires in the summer heat in America and are an evolutionary process to keep vegetation under control. Since before the time of the Indians there has always been Southern forests 🔥 burning. Because of the Addition of roads, waterways, bridges and many other forms of infrastructure, Forests do not burn in large sections like they used to in hundreds of thousands of acres at a time.
