Yes, even me i can confirm as i am passionate about The Chosen, Dallas Jenkins and co masterpiece: they do not have a major in english to put it kindly!
The ridiculousness of The Chosen Tv haters knows no bounds and i think the best call in this case its to ridicule them a little bit, with love, ofcourse..
