Alex Murdaugh Testifies! Murdaugh Murder Trial Recap & Impressions (Day 23)

Despite the reports, I struggled to comprehend why Alex Murdaugh would take the stand in his own defense. It was therefore quite the surprise this morning when Mr. Murdaugh received his 5th amendment advisement from the Court and stated that he intended to take the stand. Let's review!

The trial of former South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh is taking place in Colleton County, SC. Murdaugh is accused of fatally shooting his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and his 22-year-old son, Paul Murdaugh, in the summer of 2021.

FYI - this end-of-day breakdown comes based on requests for reaction as things continue to develop. Trying to summarize a full week of this trial during Friday Night Frenzy has been fairly all-consuming, and I'd like to get back to that show being more of a general recap of the full week in different topics...not all-consumed by Murdaugh.
