FAITH WITHOUT WORKS

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead. (James 2:26)

What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:9-13)

ONE MEDIATOR

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5)

The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. (Hebrews 7:23-24)

The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. A mediator, however, implies more than one; but God is one. (Galatians 3:19-20)
