In 1821, the German poet Heinrich Heine said, "Where books are burned, in the end people will be burned." This is the history we are doomed to repeat unless we learn from it. This is the history they WANT us to forget... but I, for one, won’t let us. All literature is dangerous to a regime that fears the free-flow of ideas, because literature is meant to forge connections among human beings. Anyone who would censor or try to prevent the free-flow of ideas does so to DIVIDE human beings and thereby control them.
