Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Movie on Record was released by Columbia Records in 1981. It is an LP-length condensation of the movie's dialogue, music, and sound effects. It's like listening to the movie without video, but it's condensed in such a way that much of the stuff you could only see, but had minimal audio, is edited out.

I purchased this vinyl record in a record store in 1981, and it was the very first "Audiobook" I ever owned.
