McDaniel Believes Trump Will Back GOP Nominee If He Doesn't Win

Trump will cheerfully support his opponent if he loses the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

GOP chair Ronna McDaniel thinks so. On CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning, McDaniel tried to convince Dana Bash that the former president would support the 2024 Republican contender. McDaniel expects RNC-sanctioned presidential debates to require such a guarantee.

“Anyone coming on the Republican National Committee debate stage should be able to declare, ‘I will support the will of the voters, and the eventual nominee of our party,'” McDaniel said.
