2023 Elections: Someone’s dad ‘anointed’ with assault for allegedly trying to buy votes in Benin, Edo State.

A yet-to-be identified middle-aged man, was on Saturday afternoon, February 25, assaulted by residents for attempting to buy votes in Benin, Edo State.

According to multiple sources, the suspect offered ₦3K to electorate in order to get their votes but was met with disapproval. The youths who witnessed the scenario, decided to ambush him and send him to oblivion using their hands.

In a trending video, the man can be seen being dragged to the ground as the voters beat him.
