Snowmageddon 2016 Update So Far

Just a quick update on the storm they are calling Snowmageddon 2016. So far I had just a few flurries but just 10 miles away they are in a state of emergency.

Just south of me a few miles they are getting hammered. There is a lot of snow on the ground already and more on the way. The towns along that band are in a state of emergency.

The governor of New York State was on TV talking about the emergency situation just ten miles from my homestead. He is telling people to stay off the roads unless there is an absolute emergency.

It is hard to believe that just a few miles away they are in blizzard conditions while I sit here with just a few flurries so far.

I have not see any snow yet to speak of.

Just west of me they got hit hard as well.

The weather reports are still saying I could get up to 15 inches of snow but others are saying 1 to 2 inches.

I guess time will tell.
