Tasco Game Cameras Failed On Me & Customer Service Response

I had purchased some Tasco game cameras for home security at my off grid homestead a while back. Sadly they never picked up any night photos even though raccoons were often at my place eating chickens. Even worse is that they leak water and no longer work at all.

I contacted Bushnell, which is the parent company of Tasco and explained my problem with the water inside the cameras. The guy on the phone literally laughed at me and said that there is not a game camera on the market that is water proof.

I find this odd because these cameras are sold for outdoor use. And he repeated that these cameras are not waterproof.

I have since looked around and find that many cameras are guaranteed to be waterproof. They state so right on the box.

I was not pleased with the reaction of the customer support from Bushnell and I was basically left with damaged and useless cameras.

These cameras also never picked up anything outside besides my own self leaving the camera when turning it on and returning to shut it off. They never picked up any animals although many times raccoons ate my chickens just ten feet from the cameras.

I will not be buying any Tasco or Bushnell cameras in the future.
