Ryobi Circular Saw Used Heavily At The Off Grid Homestead

Someone asked me the other day to do a review on my Ryobi power tools. So here it is. I have been using the Ryobi power tools for about two years now quite heavily.

Living off the grid means that I cannot be using plug in power tools all the time. And normally battery operated power tools use less power overall. I recharge them using my solar powered battery bank through a power inverter as needed.

But using less power in the case of Ryobi does not mean less powerful tools.

I will say one simple thing. This set of tools takes a serious beating and keeps on working. What I mean by beating is that I use them just about every single day and they hold up very well. I am still on the first blade on my circular saw and this thing has cut literally hundreds of feet of wood by now.

I use my Ryobi tools first before anything else anymore. The circular saw has seen more use then any other saw I ever owned. I am building my tiny house, building fences, repairing stuff, remodeled the RV and much more. All with this Ryobi circular saw. It still works like the day I got it.

The Ryobi one set of batteries is very convenient. I have 5 batteries and often tear through all of them in a single day on a project. I keep rotating them out of charging and using in the tools. Having extra means that one can be cooling off while one is charging and the other three are in my drill, impact driver and saw.

I have the reciprocating saw, weed whacker and cultivator as well.

I love these tools. None of them has ever left me hanging or given me any trouble.

And they are all as good as a plug in tool.

I would highly recommend the Ryobi line of tools to a friend. Even a contractor.
